As 2025 approaches, Overwatch 2 is gearing up for a significant transformation to fend off escalating competition from various online shooters. Additionally, Blizzard is teasing another character named Aqua, who will showcase water-based abilities in season 18.

The first upgrade provides a minor boost, such as augmenting passive abilities or reducing core ability cooldowns.
